34 week appointment

So it has been awhile since a baby update. Just had my 34 week appointment and things are looking good/the same. Baby K is still being a little on the stubborn side (must get that from daddy) and is not head down but he has moved from a Transverse Position (completely sideways) to a Oblique Position (diagonal) So we are moving in the right direction. Dr. G really wants to see him head down by 36 weeks so please pray he is a good little boy and listens. His heart rate was a very calm and restful 120bpm so I am being optimistic that he will stay a very calm restful baby when he is out in the world. Again knowing his Daddy this is very wishful thinking but it is possible for him to be like Mommy.

Mini Van??? WHAT!

What is this in my driveway? Are we really ready for a MINIVAN? I think the answer is a big fat NO. Corey came home from work on Tuesday with this beauty of a car and it confirmed my feeling's that I am just NOT ready for this yet. This is his work vehicle he needed to take to Chicago for a training class this week. We will be returning it ASAP to get my nice and small looking Escape back. Sorry all you mini van moms I am not ready to join your club.

Third Trimester

I have officially entered the Third Trimester! Yeah the home stretch, or the worse stretch we will see. I had a Dr. appointment on Tues and everything is looking good/the same. He is still in a Transverse position (sideways) and seems very comfortable there. Mommy on the other hand is not very comfortable because of this! But really is there a comfortable position for me right now? I am guessing no. His heartbeat was a steady 135bpm, he was acting like a typical boy by moving all over so it was hard to get his heart beat. After my regular appointment. I was sent over to Holland Hospital for a quick blood draw to test my blood (again) for the Rh- factor. As you can imagine there is nothing quick about a hospital lab. After my results came back and a hour of worthless waiting room reading they gave me the RhoGAM shot to take back to my doctor office so they could give it to me. Again waiting in a waiting room for a nurse to have 2 seconds to stab my leg. Now I am down to every 2 weeks for my appointments. Hard to believe it has gone this fast and I am sure the next few weeks will go even faster.

Camping

I survived the weekend of camping! We had a very COLD weekend but still had a ton of fun.
Here is my home for the weekend, It came equipped with a queen size air mattress I had to myself, and a portable toilet for those many middle of the night pees. Boy did that come in handy. I loved it so much Corey was getting concerned I might put it in our bedroom next to the bed permanently. No worries I don't plan on it.
Saturday everyone else went canoeing on the Pere Marquette river. Corey and I decided to sit that out this year due to that fact I am starting my 7th month of pregnancy. What a good year NOT to canoe it was so cold we had a fire going all day long.

Baby Shower

I had my first Shower and got TONS of wonderful gifts to prepare us for Baby Kragt to arrive. My Brother, Sister-in-law and kids came it to town for the weekend so it was a fun filled very busy weekend. It was great to see them and spend some time with the kids. Heather and Maddie (along with my mom) helped to give me this wonderful shower at Alpen Rose. Here is a few pics of ALL the gifts.

These next few pic's are of the art work Dan and Heather gave us for the baby's room. They got these for Maxton's room before he was born. They really add some finishing touches to the room. Thanks guys we love them.
