Lazy Sunday

We had a very lazy day over here at the Kragt home. The dogs even layed around ALL day long . As the days go on and the older Bailey and Sadi get the more they can't live with out each other. They seem to alway be as close as possible to each other. We are very blessed with these old pups and are very thankful they do love each other so much.

What a Weekend!

We had quite a weekend! Sorry I have no photo's. We started the weekend on Friday with some bowling and to Logan's for our friend Austin's (aka:Fish) Birthday then ended the night with a cocktail at Finnegan's and home to bed. Great night of fun was had. Saturday was a night out for Andrea's Birthday. We met at Logan's for some dinner and got some silly balloon hats made for Ange and then it was off to the bowling alley for a few games. We ended the night in good ole Sawbucks for some karaoke. I am still laughing over all of the nights events. Then came Super Bowl Sunday. We headed over to the Brinks to watch the game and pig out. We all had a late night Sat so it was very calm for a change, usually when we all get together it can tend to get a little crazy. After the game was done we were cleaning up and getting ready to leave when Ange noticed her purse was missing. Wallet minus cash and contents of her purse were all over the front seat of her car. We looked inside and outside for it and it was no where to be found. So the rest of us decided to check out our cars. Yup we got robbed. My entire purse was gone, Katy's purse was gone, Brandon's wallet was gone and his smelly gym pants. What seemed strange was they left GPS, IPODS, and Ange's laptop. They also stole Kevin's beer that was sitting right next to the door to get into the house. CREEPY! We called the police and as we waited for them to arrive we had our very own CSI Brandon do some investigating. We found a beer can that was dropped in the driveway to give to the officer for finger prints but I guess CSI Brandon should of used some gloves and not throw it in the trash. Then he headed across the street to the church that was having a super bowl party with the youth group and found out 2 kids left early.......so we thought oh must of been some teenagers. Now it was getting late, we filed our police report and headed home, I came to the conclusion my purse was gone forever along with all on the contents of it. Next morning I woke up early and got a email from Corey(I didn't have a phone it was in my purse) saying Ange got a call around 2am and they recovered our stuff and I could go to the Sheriffs Dept. to claim it. Still not being very optimistic I went to see what was left. I got my purse, wallet, cell phone, camera, and planner back. I lost, all of my cash, a Best Buy Gift Card, a granola bar (they must have been hungry after all the hard work it was to steal so much) my glove's, and all of the other junk that end's up in the bottom of a girls purse. At this point in the day I am feeling very lucky and mad thinking it was some stupid punk kids. THEN Ange gives me a call after she went and claimed what was left of her purse and informs me they found all of our stuff (minus Brandon's wallet and smelly pants) in a stolen car that was abandoned and that they don't have anyone in custody yet but think it may be a repeat offender that just got out of jail and normally hits up the Jenison area. What the heck! So lesson learned by me for sure. Always lock your car, never leave you purse in you car, and don't think you are safe even in your garage. Hope this never happens again and never happens to any of you........ Hudsonville is now the new Detroit, not sure what that makes Ghetto Holland Heights but I can tell you Bailey and Sadi aren't going to protect me they are both going deaf. Maybe I will have to get some big black and orange signs that say BEWARE OF DOGS!

Hide and Seek

Sometimes I think Corey and I are crazy for having such big dog's! And then I think it is maybe just the BIG personality's they have. Yesterday I couldn't find Bailey anywhere. After searching High and Low I found him stuck under the spare bed. I guess he was comfortable because he was not coming out from under there for anything. Not even Treats. How are we ever going to have Kids if this is what our dogs do. I guess they always will keep me guessing and LOOKING. for them.

Sweatpants Party

After a cold and snowy Saturday afternoon and a few hours of bowling (real bowling not Wii bowling) Corey and I decided a night home in our sweatpants sounded heavenly. After mentioning the idea to a few friends it turned out to be a last minute sweat pants party.
We played darts and shuffle board......
And of course had to rock out.....
and by the end of the night even Bailey was all tuckered out.

We wanted to get a good picture of Sadi and Bailey in front of the Christmas Tree and this is as good as we could get. Bailey was not wanting his picture taken this year. Silly dog's.

SNOW SNOW SNOW!

Wow have we got a lot of snow so far this year. I love the snow and think it has been beautiful but boy am I sick of shoveling. I took these pic's last night, as many of you know Corey is not the tallest guy ever and the snow almost hit his head! Also take note of the happy face on him as I made him pose for the photo. ha ha.

Thanksgiving weekend

So it was a fun Turkey Day for the Kragts. We got up early Thursday morning and headed to Ohio to see my brother and his family. We ate way to much food and watched a movie. Friday was shopping day! Not 3am or anything. First we went down town Cleveland and went to a HUGH market. It had everything from fruits and veggies to beef, cheese and bread. Lot's of yummy stuff to buy. After the market we hit up Tower City mall and Hard Rock for lunch. Then it was shopping at a out door mall with Target, Best Buy, Old Navy and all of the other favorite's. Corey convinced me he needed to buy a GPS and I caved only to find out when we got home his Mom had got him one for Christmas. Way to go Corey you always have to ruin Christmas. ha ha. Sunday we got out the Christmas decoration's and set up the tree. This weekend I think is decoration's outdoors. Hope to have some pic's for ya soon.
